Coaching Experience
I spent 10 years coaching, from five year olds up to Division 1 college athletes, with whom I spent most of my professional career. I coached men and women at Tufts University, Columbia University, and most recently, at Drexel University.
For me, coaching naturally led to a career in counseling, as my athletes would come talk to me about a variety of issues, all of which we encounter in the counseling space. Whether it is stress management, external pressure, depressive symptoms, control issues, worry that interferes with performance, sleep issues, body concerns, and more. These are all issues that my athletes dealt with, and ultimately which led me to pursue a career in counseling. I now know how to use ethical, evidence based strategies which address all of these issues and more.
